Report: Shawn Michaels “Confirmed” To Wrestle At Crown Jewel
Shawn Michaels is returning to the ring.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Michaels is “confirmed” to wrestle at Crown Jewel on Nov. 2. Meltzer previously reported that Michaels was “targeted” to wrestle and the event, but that it would not be in a singles match.
On Monday Night Raw, the Undertaker announced that Kane will be appearing in his corner at WWE Super Show-Down for his bout against Triple H. Michaels will be in the corner of Triple H. This was done to set up a tag team match between Degeneration-X and The Brothers of Destruction leading into Crown Jewel.
Michaels has not wrestled since losing to the Undertaker at WrestleMania 26 in a Streak vs. Career match. WWE attempted to get Michaels to come out of retirement earlier this year for The Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabi, but Michaels turned down the offer.
Crown Jewel takes places on Nov. 2 from the King Fahd International Stadium. The event will stream live on the WWE Network and Fightful will provide complete coverage.
