Report: Seth Rollins Dealing With Issue That’s Preventing Him From Getting Physical; Sasha Banks Update
An update on both Seth Rollins and Sasha Banks.
Immediately following last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, the announcement was pushed out through WWE’s digital platforms that 2019 men’s Royal Rumble match winner Seth Rollins is challenging Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35. Rollins took a multitude of F5s from Brock Lesnar to close out Monday’s RAW as well.
“The Architect” did not work this weekend’s live event loop and John Pollock of POST Wrestling has provided an update on that and is reporting that Seth Rollins is dealing with an issue that is preventing him from getting physical. Rollins is “off life events for the time being” and will not be used this upcoming Monday according to the report. For the next month of television, Rollins will be in non-physical roles.
It was also noted within the report that Sasha Banks was not cleared to wrestle following her RAW Women’s Championship match against Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Banks is expected to be cleared in time for she and Bayley’s match against Nikki Cross and Alicia Fox on RAW to determine the fifth team to enter the Women’s Tag Titles Elimination Chamber match.
**UPDATE**
PWInsider is reporting that Seth Rollins will be backstage at tonight’s RAW in Portland.
