Report: Scott Dawson Underwent Surgery, Out Until December
Scott Dawson's recent injury is now going to keep him on the shelf for several months after surgery.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dawson's injury forced him to undergo surgery to repair a torn biceps this past week, putting him out of action for several months. The next time WWE could have The Revival back as a team would be around December.
It was likely that Dawson would miss some time with the injury regardless of the severity, but the surgery pretty much confirms that it was probably a full tear.
The injury occurred when The Revival replaced The Hardys on house shows during their recent tour in Canada. The Revival came in to face Raw Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro and it was during one of those shows, in Halifax, Canada, where Scott Dawson suffered the injury.
It has been a rough year for The Revival due to untimely injuries. Dash Wilder, Dawson's tag team partner, suffered a broken jaw shortly after making their main roster debut. The Revival has been on Raw since debuting in the post-WrestleMania Raw.
The injury is another blow to the tag team as they will have to miss yet another WWE pay-per-view, SummerSlam on August 20. The Observer reported that The Revival was going to face the Hardys on the SummerSlam Kickoff show. As of this writing, the Hardys still do not have a match at SummerSlam and their role in the show is still unclear.
