Report: Rey Fenix ‘Ready To Return’ Following Groin Injury
An update on Rey Fenix.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Rey Fenix is “ready to return” after dealing with a groin injury. Fenix hasn’t wrestled since the April 26 (taped on April 21) episode of AEW Dark: Elevation when he defeated Chuckie T. He was also forced to miss out on Double or Nothing.
It is unknown when Fenix will return to the ring.
In Fenix’s absence, Penta El Zero M has been teaming with Eddie Kingston. The duo defeated AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks in a non-title eliminator bout, but failed to capture the AEW Tag Team Titles at AEW Road Rager in a street fight.
The third member of the Death Triangle, PAC has been off television due to travel following his return home to the UK.
Andrade El Idolo mentioned Death Triangle during his promo on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, wondering where they were at.
