Report: NJPW Threaten To Suspend The Bullet Club OGs If G1 Climax Interference Continues

It’s taken 17 nights, but NJPW has threatened to take action against Bullet Club OG members Tama Tonga, Bad Luck Fale, and Tanga Loa if they interfere in any B Block match on Night 18.

In a statement released online, NJPW states, “New Japan Pro-Wrestling has made a decision to impose a three month suspension and a fine to each member(s) of BULLET CLUB OG if they intervene in any G1 CLIMAX 28 tournament B-block match tomorrow”

Tonga will compete in his final G1 match against Toru Yano. Loa and Fale will be in the building as they are scheduled to take on Bullet Club members Chase Owens and Hangman Page on the undercard.

Perhaps most importantly, Kenny Omega battles Kota Ibushi in the main event. The Bullet Club OG’s made their presence felt during a six man tag match on the Night 17 undercard. Omega teamed with The Young Bucks to take on Ibushi, Owens, and Marty Scurll. The moment Ibushi and Omega were tagged in, Tonga and company struck, causing the match to be thrown out. All six men apologized to fans as they made their way to the back.

Bullet Club OG’s, also known as The Firing Squad, have caused chaos all tournament. Loa has gotten involved in every match involving Fale and Tonga. When one was competing, the other wasn’t far behind. Fale suffered six losses in the tournament, all by disqualification.

Fightful will provide live results for the final night of Block action.
