Report: Nikki Cross Signs New Contract With WWE

Nikki Cross staying put.

Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens reports Nikki Cross has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Cross originally signed with WWE in April 2016. She spent two-plus years in NXT, aligning with Sanity, before being moving to the main roster on a permanent basis in the winter of 2018.

Cross has been a focal point of the main roster since the spring when she was aligned with Alexa Bliss. After being known for her crazy persona in NXT, Cross debuted a calmer side when paired with Bliss. The duo went on to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles from The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay) on the Aug. 5 episode of Raw. Their reigns would last until WWE Hell in a Cell, when they were defeated by The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane). Cross was moved to the SmackDown brand in the WWE Draft. She is currently scheduled to be part of Team SmackDown in the Women’s Elimination Match at Survivor Series.
