Report: MLW To Add New Titles, Puma King Finished With Company, More
News and notes from the world of MLW.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, MLW will be adding a secondary singles heavyweight title belt and trios titles at some point in the future. Right now, MLW has three titles: MLW World Heavyweight Championship (held by Tom Lawlor), MLW Middleweight Championship (held by Teddy Hart) and the MLW Tag Team Championships (held by The Hart Foundation).
Meltzer also reports that Puma King is done with the promotion as he double booked himself during WrestleMania Weekend. Puma King reportedly booked himself from WrestleCon and MLW on Apr. 4. Mike Johnson of PWInsider confirmed that Puma King is finished with the company, noting that “it would have been impossible to push him if they couldn’t be assured that MLW was his priority.”
Johnson reports that MLW has been working on several international deals. Court Bauer has been teasing international dealings on Twitter over the last week.
