Report: Michael Elgin Suffered A Bucket Tear Of The Meniscus, Expected To Miss 2 Months
Michael Elgin is expected to miss two months after undergoing surgery for a bucket tear of the meniscus.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Elgin suffered the injury on Nov. 30. Elgin was teaming with Jeff Cobb against Tomohiro Ishii & Toru Yano as part of NJPW’s World Tag League tour. Elgin was able to finish the tour and planned to rest up before Wrestle Kingdom 13 on Jan. 4. However, while doing cardio one day, things got worse and Elgin elected for surgery.
Elgin underwent surgery on Dec. 20.
