Report: Luke Harper Scheduled To Be At WWE SmackDown Taping Tomorrow
An update on the other half of the Bludgeon Brothers.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Luke Harper is scheduled to be at the SmackDown Live taping in Toledo, Ohio tomorrow night. Please note that this doesn’t mean Harper will be used on television, just that he will be backstage at the show.
Harper has been off television since the Aug. 21, 2018 episode of SmackDown where he and Rowan lost the SmackDown Tag Team Titles to The New Day. Rowan suffered a torn bicep two nights prior at SummerSlam but worked through the injury at SmackDown to drop the titles. Rowan got surgery on his bicep and recently returned to television at WWE Royal Rumble as Daniel Bryan’s enforcer.
With Rowan sidelined, Harper elected to get wrist surgery. He last wrestled at a WWE Live Event on Oct. 1, 2018. He has reportedly been working out at the Performance Center in preparation for his in-ring return.
Fightful will provide live coverage of WWE SmackDown tomorrow night beginning at 8 p.m. ET followed by a post-show podcast immediately after the show.
