Report: Jake Atlas Has Signed With WWE, Will Report To The Performance Center Soon
WWE’s talent pool continues to deepen.
According to reports by Last Word on Pro Wrestling and SoCal Uncensored, Jake Atlas has been signed by WWE and will report to the WWE Performance Center in January.
Atlas, an openly gay wrestler, did appear on an episode of Celebrity Undercover Boss with Stephanie McMahon. in the episode, he received $25,000 from the WWE for a down payment on a house and was made an ambassador for the brand. His first reported assignment was in 2018 in Boston where he worked on the Be A STAR campaign in local communities. Reportedly, Atlas was seen backstage at WWE’s Fox Network premiere of Friday Night SmackDown in Los Angeles, California on October 4.
A native Californian, Atlas began wrestling in 2016. He trained with the Santino Brothers. Atlas was named the 2017 SoCal rookie of the year. According to reports, he had interest from AEW and Ring Of Honor. Most recently, Atlas was an entrant in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s 2019 Battle of Los Angeles Tournament, where he lost in the second round to Dragon Lee.
