Report: IMPACT Wrestling Making ‘Massive Upgrades’ To Production Facility
Changes are coming to IMPACT Wrestling.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that IMPACT Wrestling held an “all hands on deck” meeting between talent and crew on August 28.
The following notes were given:
- IMPACT will be making “massive upgrades” to its production facility. The upgrades will reportedly take over a month before they are in place. The upgrades will bring “state-of-the-art production technology and advances” to the Impact on AXS and pay-per-view events.
- Adjustments will be made to the taping schedule.
- Less talent will be utilized after Bound For Glory, Anthem will reportedly be paying day rate talent for extra days through the remainder of the year.
- IMPACT UK events will be taped for TV
- There will be another new IPWF 80s-style throwback taping in Toronto at Santino Marella’s Battle Arts Academy on November 11.
- There will be a joint show with AAA Lucha Libre in November.
- Final Resolution will reportedly take place on December 11.
- Hard To Kill will reportedly be held in Las Vegas in January at a venue directly on the Las Vegas strip.
- No releases are coming.
