Report: Hangman Page Turned Down ROH’s Latest Contract Offer
Hangman Page remains non-committal.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that Hangman Page turned down ROH’s latest contract offer. It was previously reported that Page also turned down a recent contract offer from WWE.
The contract situations of the members of The Elite is one of the hottest topics in wrestling right now as fans wait on their next move. Cody’s ROH contract reportedly expired at the end of October, but he has committed to the company through the end of the year. The ROH contracts of the Young Bucks are set to expire at the end of the year while Kenny Omega’s contract with NJPW runs through January.
The verbal commitment made to each other has become a storyline on recent episodes of Being The Elite. In the latest episode, a Halloween special filmed on Chris Jericho’s Rock N Wrestling Rager at Sea Cruise, the pact was mentioned multiple times as they continue to tease their next move.
The Elite recently announced their split from the Bullet Club, adding more speculation over what the group will do next.
Page is currently scheduled to appear at upcoming ROH events and will be taking part in their annual Survival of the Fittest tournament on Sunday.
