Report: Doubt Jay White Will Extend His Contract With NJPW, WWE Believed To Be Making Strong Play
Jay White could be leaving NJPW.
Super J-Cast reports several sources have indicated that there is doubt over Jay White remaining in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. His contract is rumored to be up at the end of the month, though that wasn’t confirmed.
The report goes on to say that it’s believed WWE will make a strong play for him and it’s 50/50 on whether White stays in NJPW or goes elsewhere.

Following his loss to Kota Ibushi at Wrestle Kingdom 15, White cut a backstage promo saying he was finished with NJPW after New Year Dash. White showed up for New Year Dash and took the pinfall in a multi-man match before being ushered to the back.
