Report: DJZ And IMPACT Wrestling To Part Ways
DJZ will be a free agent when the clock strikes midnight.
According to WrestleZone, DJZ’s and IMPACT Wrestling will part ways once his contract expires at the end of the night. DJZ debuted in TNA/IMPACT in 2011 under the name Zema Ion. During his seven year run in the company, he’s won the X Division Title on two occasions and the IMPACT Tag Team Titles once. He has not been used by the company since their television tapings in June.
DJZ took to social media to confirm the news of his departure and thank IMPACT Wrestling for the last seven years.
i would like to thank @IMPACTWRESTLING for the last 7 years. They gave me a platform to hone my craft, make mistakes, learn from them and grow as a performer. They stuck w/ me through difficult times and provided the opportunity to wrestle for a living. https://t.co/6qo9QCwjCG
