Report: Colby Corino A Free Agent Once Again

Colby Corino is reportedly a free agent again.

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net reports that Colby Corino is once again a free agent after his WWE status has changed.

Corino reportedly signed in February and was expected to reported to the Performance Center in Orlando. Haynes’ report states that Corino was offered a deal, which was agreed upon by both sides, but nothing was officially signed.

WWE reportedly entered an unofficial “hiring freeze,” which affected Corino’s status with the company as WWE agreed to a transaction agreement with Endeavor. The sale to Endeavor, and merger with UFC, is expected to become official by the end of the year.

Colby is the son of Steve Corino, who currently works as a trainer and producer for NXT.

Colby is set to be a guest on Matt Koon’s Wrestling Friends on Wednesday, May 10.
