Report: Brock Lesnar Wrestling At WWE SummerSlam

WWE may have the Universal Champion back again.

At the Greatest Royal Rumble event, Brock Lesnar defended his WWE Universal Championship despite being speared through the cage wall by Roman Reigns. That was the last time Brock Lesnar competed in the WWE ring and it was in April. While he’s been gone, Roman Reigns has been on television telling the fans that Lesnar doesn’t care about WWE and comes and goes as he wants.

Later a multi-man number one contender’s match was created but canceled when Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman publicly disagreed with the notion that Lesnar would be competing against a wrestler of WWE’s choice.  Now Reigns will face Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules but there were no stakes stated yet.

Then at UFC 226, Lesnar appeared and challenged new UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier and UFC President Dana White said the bout will be made. The next Monday, Lesnar nor UFC 226 were mentioned on Raw.

On Thursday, Wrestling Observer reported that Lesnar will be wrestling at SummerSlam which was a concern of some fans. There was no opponent named nor if the Reigns and Lashley match would be a number one contenders match.

Fightful Wrestling will continue to update readers on Lesnar’s future schedule.
