Report: Braun Strowman Returning To WWE
Braun Strowman is reportedly back in WWE.
According to a new report from PW Insider, Braun Strowman is officially back with the company that gave him his start in the wrestling business. The report also states that Strowman is expected to be at the September 5 episode of WWE Raw in Kansas City, Missouri. It’s currently unknown if Strowman is set to appear on the show.
Strowman was released from WWE back on June 2, 2021 alongside other talent like Ruby Riott, Aleister Black, and more. His release came just months after having a run with the WWE Universal Championship.
Since departing the promotion, Strowman has appeared for a few select independent promotions while also being one of the faces of the Control Your Narrative brand under the name. In those appearances, Strowman went under the names ‘Adam Scherr’ and/or ‘The Titan’.
Earlier this week, Fightful Select exclusively reported that Strowman was being discussed for a potential return to the company and that he was being talked about in creative meetings.
