Report: Anthony Bowens Underwent Knee Surgery; Bowens Comments On Injury
Anthony Bowens will remain out of the ring for the time being.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports Bowens underwent knee surgery and the hope is he’ll be out six to eight weeks.
AEW President Tony Khan revealed on AEW Unrestricted ahead of Revolution that Bowens was sidelined with a knee injury, but didn’t provide further details.
Bowens took to social media to comment on his injury, writing “What you’ve seen the last 4 months was me basically wrestling on 1 leg. I can’t wait to get back full throttle. Don’t worry though, there’s still plenty of Acclaimed content coming your way each week. I’m excited for everyone to get to know us/me a little better outside the ring.”
