Report: Aiden English Not Injured After Taking A ‘Tombstone’ From The Undertaker That Appeared To Spike Him On His Head
Some good news concerning Aiden English.
Yesterday at the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event former four-time WWE Champion The Undertaker arose from the shadows of the darkness to face Rusev in a 'Casket match'. The bout went a little over nine minutes with both men getting their share of blows in on one another. Towards the end of the match, "The Shakespeare Of Song" and fellow member of 'Rusev Day' Aiden English stepped into the ring to prevent Rusev from having the casket lid closed on him and losing the match.
That did not turn out well for English as he was caught in the clutches of The Undertaker and given a "Tombstone Pile Driver". The "piledriver" appeared to look brutal for those watching from home as it looked as if Aiden English was dropped right on his head.
After being removed from the casket along with Rusev once the match was over the former NXT Tag Team Champion was seen holding his neck, but according to PWInsider it was just a great sell job by English. The site notes that Aiden is not hurt and his selling was so good that fans believed he was legitimately injured.
