Renee Young Officially Becomes The First Woman To Ever Call A Full Episode Of Monday Night RAW

Renee makes history.

Last week it announced by WWE that their longtime corespondent, backstage interviewer and host Renee Young was going to be filling in for Jonathan Coachman on commentary for Monday Night RAW because Coach had other duties to fulfill. This was not Renee’s first crack at commentary as she has been on the call for NXT. Renee’s voice will also be heard when the Mae Young Classic airs on the WWE Network as she joined Michael Cole and WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix at the commentary desk for the Mae Young Classic II tapings on August 8th and 9th.

Last night on RAW Renee Young was at the commentary desk alongside Corey Graves and her M.Y.C. broadcast team member Michael Cole.

At the end of the three hours Renee Young officially became the first woman to ever call a full episode of Monday Night RAW. The night not only ended with Renee Young making history but her husband Dean Ambrose capped off the show with a bang when he made his return after being on the shelf since December of 2017 with a triceps injury.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose is back and will be in Seth Rollins’ corner at SummerSlam when his Shield brethren looks to become a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion. As for Renee Young, during the broadcast she was credited by WWE Hall Of Famers and those within the company for doing what they have deemed a “great” job on commentary.
