Here is your Fight-Size Update for the evening of Sunday, December 6, 2020.
~ Less than a month ago, former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley revealed on Dynamite that he and his wife Renee Paquette were expecting their first child together. Last night, via her Instagram page, Renee shared the news that they will be having a baby girl.
Congratulatory messages were quick to pour in, with everyone from Sasha Banks to Nikki Bella sending well wishes.
Renee has a new cookbook on its way entitled Messy In The Kitchen: My Guide to Eating Deliciously, Hosting Fabulously, and Drinking Copiously, which will release on May 18, 2021. You can pre-order it now on Amazon.
~ It’s been over 13-months since Dwayne Johnson unveiled Teremana, his new line of tequila to the world, and despite launching at the onset of the COVID-19 lockdowns, the brand is projecting to break industry records. According to Forbes, “the brand is on pace to plow through 300,000 9-liter cases in its first year.“
“Our entire Teremana team and myself are quite pleased and humbled that the brand is experiencing this incredible, off-the-charts success,” says Johnson. “But we also recognize there’s so much more work to be done. We’re building a mana fueled legacy brand and I’m in it for the long term.”
The WWE Hall of Famer has been intimately involved with the project since day one, and continues to promote it heavily all across of his social media channels. He shared the following post yesterday, expressing his shock and admiration over the news.
~ On this day in WWE history, Lita defeated Trish Stratus in the main event of RAW to win the Women’s Championship. The iconic match, which ended with a perfectly executed moonsault, happened 16 years ago.
.@trishstratuscom and @AmyDumas brought the house down in a history-making CLASSIC 16 years ago today on #WWERaw!

Following the show, the promotion announced their long-awaited return to Budokan Hall after a nearly 8-year absence. The event, which is set for February 21, 2021, will see Shiozaki put his title on the line when he faces off against Keiji Muto.
~ MJF is at it again, this time getting into a war of words with music legend Dionne Warwick.
The exchange began when the Walk On By singer jokingly commented about wrestling on a post that she was tagged in alongside the AEW Star. Max, naturally, replied that she’s better off staying outside of the ring, so as to avoid being “in a world of pain.“
A couple more Tweets were exchanged before Miss Warwick ended the conversation by telling MFJ to “try Jesus. Not me.” She included the always funny clip of CFL legends Joe Kapp and Angelo Mosca getting into a fight at an Alumni Luncheon 9 years ago.

~ AEW’s Kris Statlander appeared on the latest episode of Shot of Brandi, and was asked how she is recovering from her ACL tear. Here is what she had to say:
“Pretty good, going well. I’ve heard that I’m a little bit, maybe two weeks ahead of where most people are at. Maybe it’s just my alien genetics or something, but I just work out very hard everyday. I do way too much rehab, but it’s more of a mental challenge than a physical challenge, for sure. Just sitting on the sidelines, and you’re just watching everybody else, that’s my family and I can’t even help them.“
This is similar to an update that was provided in October, but if nothing else, her recovery schedule does not appear to have changed.

~ Lacey Evans spoke with Jay Glazer ahead of todays Tribute to the Troops, and was asked why she chose to be a Marine. Here is what she said:
“Because they were the most challenging. They were the most hard-charging son-of-a-guns out there, and I wanted to challenge myself in a way that you cant find anywhere else in the world, so I chose the United States Marine Corps.“
When she was asked what she learnt as a Marine that actually translated to the ring, Evans said the following:
“What haven’t I learned? Grit, toughness, bearing, initiative, accountability. Taking the initiative to get up and get out there and give every thing that you have every single day in the ring, out of the ring. Packing your bags, making flights, not being late, and being a hard-charging, confident, limitless lady.“
Tribute to the Troops will air adjacent to Sunday’s regional NFL broadcasts. Viewers with an NFL matchup airing at 1:00 PM ET can watch the special at 4:30 PM ET; viewers with an NFL matchup airing at 4:05 PM ET can watch at 3:00 PM ET.

~ WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently chatted with Academy Award winning actor Matthew McConaughey for an extensive “Drew & A” session.
The Gentlemen star talks about being a wrestling fan as a kid and how Hacksaw Jim Duggan was “his guy.” He also shared a story about attending an event at the Hirsch Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana and getting kicked out for throwing rotten tomatoes at Skandor Akbar. Later, he snuck back in through the bathroom window and was able to get down front near ringside where he proceeded to spit on legendary baddie King Kong Bundy.
McIntyre told McConaughey that he related with the sentiment of his book, Greenlights, and that his experience, perseverance, and ability to pivot in life and in the wrestling industry made him the ideal Champion at a time when fans were no longer allowed in attendance and everything seemed uncertain.
The full discussion can be seen below, via WWE’s YouTube page.

Doctors told Elias that an average man wouldn’t have been able to survive that type of voltage. Alas, he is no ordinary man and says that is why they call him “The Extraordinary Elias.” There was concern that he may never be able to play guitar again, but against all the odds he has regained full function in his hands.
The near death experience caused something inside of Elias to change. He is experiencing visions, and the purpose of his life has become clear. With this newfound knowledge, he plans on sharing his gift with all of us.
