Red Velvet Officially Signs With AEW
Red Velvet is officially All Elite.
Cody Rhodes announced on social media that Red Velvet has signed with AEW.
Velvet made her AEW debut on the June 16, 2020 episode of AEW Dark, teaming with Kenzie Paige in a loss to Brandi Rhodes & Allie. She has been a consistent performer on AEW Dark and Dynamite since that time, even teaming with Cody to face Shaquille O’Neal & Jade Cargill on the March 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.
The announcement and “All Elite” graphic confirms Velvet has been moved from a tier 0 contract (“agreed to appear”) to a tier 1 contract (base contract agreement) in AEW.
