Raw Viewership Still Low, But Improves Over Last Week
Monday Night’s episode of Raw rebounded just a tad from last week’s terrible numbers.
Monday’s show averaged 2.915 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. This is a slight increase from last week’s 2.911 million viewers, one of the lowest all-time for a non-holiday episode of Raw. The first hour of this week’s show drew 2.879 million, the second landed 3.083 million and the last hour drew 2.784 million viewers.
The show was the Summmerslam go-home edition of Raw that showcased Roman Reigns against Rusev just days before their United States title match. The program also had “The Demon King” Finn Balor confronting Seth Rollins and Heath Slater being destroyed by Brock Lesnar.
Major Crimes, The O’Reilly Factor and Rizzoli & Isles all beat out Raw in viewership on cable Monday night, as WWE ranked #4. In the 18-49 year old demographic, Raw was at #2, only losing out to Love & Hip Hop.
