RAW Viewership On 8-21 Sees Large Increase, Best Number In Four Months
Last night's episode of Monday Night RAW, the post-SummerSlam episode, drew 3.404 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is up 5% from last week's 3.233 million viewers, and is the biggest viewership number for RAW since the April 10 episode. This might have something to do with the very poorly kept secret that John Cena was jumping to RAW from SmackDown last night.
The episode's first hour drew 3.416 million viewers, the second hour went up to 3.581 million and the final hour dropped down to 3.216 million.
RAW came in at #4 in viewership for the night on cable, behind the NFL pre-season, the Presidential Address on Afghanistan and post-address coverage. RAW did manage to take the #1 spot in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic.
