Raw Rating Slips Down From Last Week

Raw's ratings were down from last week, though the first to third hour drop wasn't as bad.

Showbuzz Daily reports that it scored 2.85 million viewers, down from last week's 2.95. It was the usual pattern that the show has been doing lately, with the first hour scoring the highest, the second hour being down and the third taking a big hit, though not nearly as big as the gap from last week:

Hour 1: 3.10 million

Hour 2.95 million

Hour 3: 2.51 million

Raw scored the 4th, 5th and 6th spots of the nigh on cable, with the familiar suspects of NFL, Sportscenter and Love and Hip Hop scoring higher 18-49 numbers.

The big story on Raw was the follow up to the attack last week by Smackdown roster members. Stephanie McMahon returned on the show and put Kurt Angle's job on the line, making him team captian of the Raw men's Survivor Series team. There were also a bunch of big returns, including Bo Dallas, Nia Jax and Samoa Joe.

Braun Strowman returned after being trash compacted about a week ago. He returned, rising from the trash like a monster of the week, then utterly destroyed The Miz and his Miztourage. He was just named as the second participant in the Survivor Series elimination match.
