During the 2016 Royal Rumble match, R-Truth would make his entrance into the match in a unique way. As he hit the ring, he would take a ladder from underneath, set it up and looked to capture the WWE Championship, which was on the line. Unfortunately for Truth, it was not a ladder match and he was swiftly eliminated by Kane.

Recently, WWE posted a video of WWE superstars naming their favorite Royal Rumble memories. R-Truth was asked for his, which led to Truth discussing 2016’s events. However, he did seem to forget that it was him involved.

“Favorite Royal Rumble memory.. ah, there was one year this guy came out, I don’t know what he was thinking about but it’s Royal Rumble and this dude comes out, runs to the ring, pulls out a ladder, sets it up in the ring, climbs the ladder and reaches. He thought it was Money In The Bank. Can ya’ll believe that? That’s him, that’s the guy right there. I don’t know his name, somebody please find out that man’s name. He is funny. Hilarious. He did not get the memo, it was Royal Rumble, not Money In The Bank. Duh!”

Truth drew his number for the Rumble match on the January 26th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, commenting on “Adam Pearce”‘s quick hair growing abilities.

While speaking to Fightful recently, Truth stated that the Royal Rumble will be Judgment Day’s night. You can read more here.
