R-Truth Loses and Then Regains 24/7 Title on a Golf Course

Jinder Mahal attacks R-Truth at the golf course and briefly, takes his 24/7 Title too.

There’s just no rest for the WWE 24/7 Champion.

Off for a day of relaxation at the golf course, R-Truth’s outing was rudely interrupted, being rolled up and pinned by Jinder Mahal. Overjoyed by his title win, Mahal immediately celebrated but his reign was brief, with Carmella halting his exit and allowing R-Truth to return the favor with a roll-up win of his own. R-Truth is now a 3-time 24/7 champion and has twice regained the title on the same day that he lost it. As a result, he’s the only man to hold the belt for longer than a single day. A former WWE Champion, this was Mahal’s very first reign as 24/7 Titleholder.
