QT Marshall Had A Hand In Helping Jey Uso Get Yeet Back, Knew The Wrestler That Owned The Trademark Before

QT Marshall recalls helping out Jey Uso.

In December 2023, WWE was seemingly on track to remove all of the yeeting from Jey Uso’s character, as they found out about independent wrestler Kassey Huffman filing a trademark on the term back in 2021. This led to WWE even removing Uso’s signature yeet shirt from their online shop.

Within days, the shirt was back online and Uso started to yeet once again.

Now, QT Marshall is revealing that he had a hand in helping Uso continue the yeet movement. While speaking to Gabby LaSpisa of the Gabby AF podcast for a new interview, Marshall revealed that he reached out to Cody Rhodes to let him know that he knows the kid who owned the word.

“I saw that they had the t-shirt up and then it was gone. I reached out to Cody and I said, ‘Hey, I know the kid that owns the word.’ He was like, ‘You think you can get in touch with him?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I’ll call him right now.’ I don’t know how it happened, I got that kid, I spoke to him, I told Cody we’re in a little group chat. Within a day or two, Jey Uso had it. I’m not saying it was because of me.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Marshall cleared up a misconception about him and CM Punk not getting along. Learn more about those comments by clicking here.
