The event shares a name with a PWG fan that recently passed away, Alan “DINK” Denkerson. PWG posted the following about Alan’s passing on Twitter.
I am very sad to hear about the passing of Alan “DINK” Denkenson. Alan was a huge PWG fan and has been at almost every show the last decade. Over the years he brought so many new people to experience PWG. Always friendly and welcoming to everyone. You will be missed my friend.
