Puf Remembers Selling For 2 Cold Scorpio’s Legendary ‘Member’
2 Cold Scorpio is a legend in the game, stilling putting in work on the independent scene and making one-off appearances across the country.
On December 15, 2019, 2 Cold Scorpio traveled to Toronto, Ontario, Canada for Greektown to face Puf.
Appearing on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl, Puf recalled his bout with Scorpio.
“I’m not usually nervous before matches. I’m usually cool, calm, and collected. I know what I’m doing, I do it, and I don’t have an issue. I’m not too nervous. I didn’t know too much about 2 Cold Scoprio, I knew he was a name and a famous wrestler who has been all over and done stuff, but I didn’t know too much. I looked into him a little before the match. Then came the day of the show, I didn’t know how he operated. He doesn’t like to call anything. He just likes to go out there. ‘Oh, I’m not good at that bro, what?’ I was so nervous. ‘Oh my God, I’m going to fuck this up. I’m going to look like a fucking idiot when I can’t hear him right and he’s going to tell me to do something, I do something else, he’s going to be pissed, he’s going to fucking rock my shit.’ I was so nervous. Then, the music hit, we went out there, and we played off of each other, and he’s so fucking sick.
“He yelled at me after because at the end, I won. After the match, I was trying to pay respects because he’s a legend and this business is all about respect. I was leaving the ring for him, and he tried to do the same for me, he got upset I was trying to do the same for him. ‘I was giving you the ring, that’s your moment bro.’ That was so much fun. That match, I was nervous, but going backstage and having other wrestlers tell me how good of a match it was. Usually, you have the audience reaction, but when you have someone who has a trained eye in wrestling and knows, and they watch it and say it’s a good match, that always feels good. A few wrestlers came up to me and said it was one of the best matches they’ve seen me have. That was really cool. It was really fun. I remember being across the ring from him, and there is a legend about 2 Cold Scorpio’s ‘member.’ I remember being across the ring shaking my hips, he starts shaking his hips, and I see something bouncing in his pants and I’m like, ‘Oh my God!’ I literally sold. I fell back into the corner. ‘That thing is going all over the place.'”
Somehow, Puf not only survived, but he won the match.
