Power Ranger’s Jason David Frank Says He’s Received Support From Friends In WWE And IMPACT Ahead Of In-Ring Debut
Jason David Frank is taking his in-ring debut seriously.
The original Green Power Ranger Jason David Frank announced in December at Laredo Wrestling Alliance’s ‘Let’s Say Goodbye’ show that he is going to be making his professional wrestling debut as a part of the promotion. David Frank’s debut is happening this year and he’ll be going one-on-one with Brysin Scott who he had a scuffle with at the last LWA show.
David Frank is training for his in-ring debut and wants to take some of his MMA background and use that to learn how to wrestle. Frank shared that he’s received offers from friends in WWE to come train him for his debut and also has received support from those in IMPACT Wrestling as well.
“So I’m going to try it,” Frank told ‘Comicbook.com‘. “I’m gonna train for it, and I’m gonna go in there and see how it is, but I’m going to tell you one of the reasons too is that here at Comic Con, the fan base from wrestling to Comic Cons, from wrestling to MMA, it’s huge. So like now a lot of my WWE friends are just blowing up my phone saying, ‘I’ll train you. That’s awesome. Keep going.’ So a lot of support from them and a lot of support from people at IMPACT. I didn’t realize it was one of those things where fans love it. 90% love it, 10% blah, blah, blah, but that’s just life, so I’m excited to do it.”
