Police Report Alleges Vince McMahon Tried To Talk Nancy Argentino Out Of Making Jimmy Snuka Complaint

New information has surfaced regarding the death of Nancy Argentino.

Argentino died in May 1983 of traumatic brain injuries consistent with a moving head striking a stationary object. Jimmy Snuka, Argentino’s boyfriend at the time, was investigated in the death but not charged or arrested until 2015. The charges were dismissed in 2017 as Snuka, 73, was deemed not fit to stand trial.

In January 1983, Snuka was arrested for allegedly beating Argentino. Snuka was charged with a misdemeanor assault in the third degree, felony assault count in the second degree and two more misdemeanors — counts of resisting arrest and obstructing government administration.

However, Argentino did not seek prosecution.

According to an investigation by David Bixenspan of Mel Magazine, Vince McMahon allegedly tried to talk Argentino out of making a complaint against Snuka.

The note comes from the file for the investigation of Agentino’s murder from Pennsylvania’s Whitehall Township Bureau of Police. The file shows that Detective Gerald Procanyn talked to Deputy Alex Romanenko and  Sergeant Peter Bronstad, who were on the scene the night Snuka was arrested. In his notes, Procanyn wrote, “Vince McMahon tried to talk her out of making the complaint against Snuka”

According to Bixenspan, Bronstad doesn’t remember hearing about McMahon involving himself in this incident. Bronstad does remember a man — describing a shorter, older man wearing a hat — claiming to be Snuka’s manager showing up to post bail, claiming Snuka needed to wrestle the next night, but there’s no proof McMahon was the “manager.”

It has been alleged that McMahon was involved in helping Snuka out of trouble following Argentino’s death when he showed up to a meeting with assistant district attorney Robert Steinberg, the medical examiner and detectives in 1983 with a briefcase.

Snuka confirmed McMahon had a briefcase with him at the meeting in his memoir.

“Shortly after Nancy’s death, I was questioned by police and let go. At one point, I went with Vince McMahon Jr. to either a court or law office, I don’t remember which because I was still in shock. All I remember is he had a briefcase with him. I don’t know what happened. I think Vince Jr. picked me up from the hotel and took me there. He didn’t say anything to me. I don’t know if he gave Nancy’s family money or anything,” wrote Snuka.

There is no evidence of what was in the briefcase or what McMahon used the briefcase for. McMahon, through counsel and a company spokesperson, has denied his involvement in helping Snuka out of trouble in regards to Argentino’s death.
