Piper Niven would like to wrestle IYO Sky in a WWE ring.
Piper has had an interesting time on the WWE main roster, initially making her debut as Doudrop. Since then however, she has returned to form with her original ring name, Piper Niven. Since returning at the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble, Piper has found herself reinvigorated and also served as one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Chelsea Green.
On the most recent edition of WWE Playback on the promotion’s YouTube, where talent rewatched the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match, Piper Niven would remark to Chelsea Green that she would like to wrestle IYO in a WWE ring.
“I would like to wrestle IYO in a WWE ring. I think it would be great.” she said.
Upon her entrance into the matchup, Chelsea would ask Piper about what went into her ‘look’ for her return at the Rumble.
“The rebirth of Piper Niven, I wanted to go with a nod to my Scottish heritage so the tartan and the braids. There’s a lot of symbolism on the little crest on my gear and jacket. I made the jacket myself.”
While Piper has wrestled Sky in the WWE previously in multi women matches, the pair’s last singles match took place in 2017.
