Pete Dunne Injured; Pulled From Destiny Wrestling Shows This Weekend

Potentially bad news for NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne.

Destiny Wrestling announced that Dunne has been pulled from their events this weekend due to an injury.

Not much information is known about the injury at this time, but commentator Zach McGibbon called the injury “severe.”

Dunne was scheduled to compete on Oct. 5 and 6 as part of the Raising Hell Tour before defending his Destiny Championship against Josh Alexander on Oct. 7 at the Raising Hell event.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer notes that Dunne is deal with a foot injury, but that it won’t keep him from missing next weekend’s NXT television tapings. Dunne was noticeably limping during his PROGRESS bout with Ilja Dragunov on Sept. 30.
