Pete Dunne Believes British Wrestling Will Be Safe; Responds To Fan Calling Him A Sell Out
Pete Dunne won’t be discredited for his hard work.
Fans wondered how the UK Independent scene would change with news that WWE is placing restrictions on NXT UK talent by not allowing them to work with any non-WWE partnered promotion. Many European stars expressed hope that the scene would be fine as there is still plenty of talent out there waiting to be discovered. NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne agreed with the sentiment.
British wrestling is safe. Will continue to grow, the talent pool is deep. Your favourite wrestlers are achieving goals and taking steps in their career. Don’t believe everything you read – Britwres is alive and well

A fan tried to call out Dunne for being a “sell out,” which Dunne quickly shut down.
Put 12 years, a countless amount of money and months away from home at a time in an attempt to get your dream job. When you finally achieve your goal and you can also create a great life for your family I’ll make sure to discredit your hard work and tell you you’re a sell out — https://t.co/jmZAK1hmms

Without the hard work of myself and countless other wrestlers with the goal of signing to a major company there wouldn’t even be a thriving UK scene to begin with. Support independent wrestling and support independent wrestlers as they take the next step in their career

NXT UK talent can continue to take bookings with European promotions such as PROGRESS, WXW, OTT, and ICW as all four promotions have working agreements with WWE. Talent can also work for Attack! Pro Wrestling, which was founded in part by Dunne.
