Pete Dunne Faces Damian Priest On 10/16 NXT; Lee vs. Dijakovic, Tommaso Ciampa Return Set
Grudge match set for next week.
On Wednesday’s episode of NXT it was announced that Damian Priest will take on Pete Dunne on the Oct. 16 episode of NXT. The rivalry between the two men kicked off on the Oct. 2. episode of NXT when Priest attacked Dunne following the latter’s victory over Danny Burch. On Wednesday’s episode, video packages highlighting ‘The Archer of Infamy’ and ‘The Bruiserweight’ were shown in an effort to build the match between the two men.
Oh, it’s on.

Also next week, Tegan Nox will make her official NXT TV debut. Nox tore up her knee during the 2018 Mae Young Classic, sidelining her for nearly a year. She returned at a NXT live event in July and has wrestled on NXT UK.

That’s not the only grudge match taking place as former NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will take on Angel Garza on the Oct. 16 episode of NXT after the two got into a brief physical altercation backstage. Another match confirmed for the show is Keith Lee vs. Dominik Dijakovic as they will have one more match, continuing their series of matches in recent weeks on NXT.
