Paul Heyman On Naomi: Just Because She’s Not On TV With Us Doesn’t Mean She’s Not In The Bloodline

Paul Heyman addresses the popular topic of Naomi potentially joining The Bloodline faction.

Currently, Paul Heyman is working alongside the Samoan Dynasty in Roman Reigns and The Usos. Currently, that faction has all of the top-tier gold available on Friday Night SmackDown.

One piece of gold that WWE’s Samoan faction does not have is the SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, there is a member of The Bloodline that could have that gold and that is Naomi. Naomi is married to Jimmy Uso and has recently been moved over to Friday Night SmackDown. Currently, they are doing an angle with Naomi where she is getting snubbed every week by Sonya Deville.

As a remedy for this, many fans have fantasy-booked Naomi as a member of The Bloodline faction in order to see who used in a more prominent role. Speaking with the New York Post, Paul Heyman addressed these desires and would simply say that just because somebody isn’t on TV with the faction doesn’t mean that they aren’t with The Bloodline and that The Bloodline doesn’t have their best interests at heart.

“I don’t look at only one person as a potential addition to The Bloodline. I think there is a daily assessment as to what The Bloodline needs and what the presentation requires on television. At the moment I think we are addressing the enormous box office attractions that are now coming back seemingly all the time against the Tribal Chief and the fact that The Usos, who are reigning defending SmackDown tag team champions, are being pushed to the limit by the best tag team to come along besides The Usos in the past 20 years, the Street Profits. We’re telling quite a few stories right now. As the year continues and we get into 2022, are there more stories to tell involving other personalities? I’m sure that there are. And just because someone is not on television with us doesn’t mean they’re not within eyesight of The Bloodline and doesn’t mean they’re not a member of The Bloodline. It just means we’re not presenting them on TV as such.”

Currently, Paul Heyman is dealing with his own struggles as Brock Lesnar has returned and as it appears that’s far, Paul Heyman is having a difficult time choosing between either Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns. Lesnar will return on the September 10 episode of SmackDown which will emanate from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Fightful will have live coverage beginning at 8 p.m. eastern time.
