Paul Heyman Feels That Roman Reigns Has Become The Leader Of The WWE Locker Room

Paul-E gives some light praise to his advocate's opponent.

In seven days at WrestleMania 34, Paul Heyman's client Brock Lesnar will walk into New Orleans for the second time in four years and will be defending the WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns. Taking a break from prepping his client, NOLA.com had the chance to catch up with Paul Heyman to grab his thoughts on Lesnar's opponent. Heyman would give Roman Reigns a bit of praise for asserting himself in the position as the locker room leader of the WWE.

"I very much like the fact that Roman Reigns has accepted the responsibility of being the leader of the locker room," Heyman said. "He has assumed the mantle of being the conscience of the roster. Having seen him grow up in and around this business, I'm very proud of Roman Reigns."

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are the the only two blemishes on The Undertaker's WrestleMania record. Paul Heyman is aware that these two titans will come to blows in New Orleans but according to him there is nothing Roman Reigns can do to stop Brock Lesnar from holding on to the WWE Universal Title.

"Having the only two people in history to have accomplished that task face off against each other truly lets you understand the enormity of this main event this year at WrestleMania," said Heyman, "It's Brock Lesnar's time. Brock Lesnar will be the Universal Champion as long as he feels like being the Universal Champion, and there's nothing Roman Reigns can do to change that equation."
