Pat McAfee Says His Wrestling Dream Isn’t Done, Still Has Plans For His Hall Of Fame Journey
Pat McAfee isn’t done yet.
WWE SmackDown commentator Wade Barrett recently commented to Daily Star that his gig on commentary is as permanent as a role can be in WWE.
Barrett, who was previously on the NXT commentary team, replaced Pat McAfee on SmackDown commentary after McAfee took a gig with ESPN College Gameday in September 2022.
Taking to social media, McAfee commented on his future in wrestling.
A lot of wrestling chatter about me right now..
I think about wrestling everyday..that dream isn’t done.
My business is currently rather active and exigent…+ baby on the way…timing is everything
I still have MASSIVE plans for my journey to the WWE HOF someday.
