Pampero Firpo Passes Away At The Age Of 89
In sad news, Pampero Firpo has passed away at the age of 89. His daughter took to social media to confirm the news.
Firpo wrestled for over 30 years and was also known as The Missing Link and Ivan The Terrible. He last wrestled in 1981 and competed in organizations such as NWA, WWWF (now WWE), All Japan, and more. He is a former three-time NWA United States Heavyweight Champion, WWC Puerto Rican Champion, and NWA World Tag Team Champion.
Sean Waltman noted on social media that Randy Savage‘s “Oooh Yeah!” was inspired by Firpo.
