Paige Ends ‘Absolution’; Places Mandy Rose In A Singles Match For Next Week’s SmackDown Live
'Absolution' is no more.
The night after WrestleMania former two-time WWE Divas Champion Paige announced her retirement from in-ring competition but she would soon move up to "the offices" of WWE as she would soon be revealed as the new GM of SmackDown Live. Paige's former running mates in the group 'Absolution'; Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville were moved to the same brand as Paige as a part of the 2018 WWE 'Superstar Shake-Up'.
Tonight on the blue-brand's show Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville approached their former leader in hopes that the trio could dominate SmackDown seeing as how Paige is now in control. Deville & Rose went into the office of Paige with the mindset that one of them would be gifted a SmackDown Live Women's Championship match but they both were sadly mistaken.
With their 'Absolution' gear on, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville were told by Paige that the group is dead and that next week Mandy will have her first match as a part of the brand against the first-ever SmackDown Live Women's Champion Becky Lynch.
As SD Live comes to an end, gear up for Fightful's post-show podcast where our crew will review the action from tonight's show.
