Otis Says He Will Only Use The Money In The Bank Briefcase To “Cash-In” On Tag Team Champions
Otis is planning on making history should he win the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Over the course of the last 15 years, we have seen many Money in the Bank cash-ins. Some have been successful, some have failed. Some have been men cash-ins and some have been women cash-ins. Otis wants to become the first person to cash in for tag team gold.
“If I get the briefcase, we’re challenging for the Tag Team titles,” Otis tells Digital Spy. “I don’t think there’s a rule of what titles to challenge for, so we’re going to challenge for the Tag Team titles, cash it in and that’s what’s going to happen… if I can get up that ladder.”
He continued, “I’m a little scared of heights and I hope that ladder’s going to be sturdy enough to carry my weight.”
Otis’ plans have to be music to the ears of his partner, Tucker, who hasn’t been seen since facing Dolph Ziggler in one-on-one competition on an episode of SmackDown in late April.
Otis also tells a fun story about being speared by WWE security as a 200-pound 5th-grade boy. Learn more about that at this link.
Fightful will have live coverage of money in the bank beginning on Sunday at 6 p.m. Eastern.
