AEW announced that Cassidy will compete in the Casino Ladder Match at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, taking place on May 23 at an unspecified location.

Already announced for the match are Darby Allin and Colt Cabana, both of whom recently competed in the TNT Title Tournament, which will see its conclusion at Double Or Nothing as well. The winner of the Casino Ladder Match will be granted a future AEW World Championship match. The current champion is Jon Moxley, who is defending his title against Brodie Lee at the pay-per-view as well.
Cassidy’s last match on AEW television took place on the April 22 edition of Dynamite, where he picked up a victory over Jimmy Havoc.
