Oba Femi Becomes Longest Reigning NXT North American Champion
Oba Femi makes history.
Oba Femi is now the longest-reigning NXT North American Champion in history, holding the title for 270 days. He surpasses Wes Lee, who held the title for 269 days.
Oba won the title on the January 9th episode of NXT when he cashed in his NXT Breakout Tournament contract and defeated Dragon Lee.
He has made ten successful title defenses. He has defeated Wes Lee, Ivar, Otis, Dijak, Josh Briggs, Lexis King, Joe Coffey, and more during his reign.

Oba’s next title defense will come on the October 8th episode of NXT when he faces Tony D’Angelo. He previously defeated D’Angelo at NXT No Mercy.
