NXT Viewership Loses Nearly 200,000 Viewers On 7/27/21 With Pre-Taped Episode That Aired On SyFy

NXT viewership falls with a pre-taped episode on Tuesday.

PWTorch reports the July 27 episode of NXT drew 520,000 viewers, which is a steep decline from last week’s total of 709,000 viewers.

The show posted a 0.12 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is down from the 0.20 demographic rating the show posted last week.

This week, NXT was presented on the SyFy channel, the original home of the NXT reality show series from 2010. Not only was this week’s episode of NXT pre-taped, but it was up against the 2020/2021 Olympics which drew 14.263 million viewers, per SpoilerTV.

The major angles from this week’s episode saw Dakota Kai turn on Raquel Gonzalez, presumably setting up a future match for the NXT Women’s Championship. Also, Samoa Joe officially was reinstated as a professional wrestler and will face Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver 36 during SummerSlam weekend.
