The spoilers are in from the post-TakeOver: Blackpool taping.
Coming off their first-ever TakeOver show, the NXT UK brand had a television taping at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England. The current PROGRESS World Champion WALTER had his first match as a member of the NXT UK roster during these tapings after confronting WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne at the conclusion of TakeOver: Blackpool. The following spoilers are from ‘Mirror Sport’ and the show started off with the NXT UK debut of Luke Menzies:

* The first-ever NXT UK Tag Team Champions Zack Gibson and James Drake came out to their usual reaction which is the crowd doing the, “If you hate Gibson, shoes off” chant. Gibson said that he and Drake do not need to wear shiny pants (Mustache Mountain) or need a catchy nickname to win gold. NXT UK assistant GM Sid Scala alerted Gibson and Drake that they’ll be defending their NXT UK Tag Titles over Royal Rumble weekend at an NXT show but did not specify if that defense is taking place at TakeOver: Phoenix or at one of the AXXESS shows.
