NXT UK Tag Team Titles To Be Defended In Four-Way Ladder Match At NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II
NXT UK Tag Team Champions Mark Coffey & Wolfgang will be put their titles on the line against Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner, The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson), and Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster in a four-way ladder match at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II.
The bout was made official on Thursday’s NXT UK.
Coffey & Wolfgang defended the titles against Aichner & Barthel on Thursday, but the match ended in a no contest due to outside interference from the Grizzled Young Veterans and South Wales Subculture. Feeling as if the titles were being disrespected, NXT UK management (Johnny Saint & Sid Scala) announced they would be taking the belts and whichever team wanted them would have to climb the ladder at TakeOver.
