NXT UK News: Tag Titles On The Line & Bate vs. Gallagher Next Week, Kay Lee Ray To Debut Soon

A few big announcements pertaining to the NXT UK brand.

First, the brand announced that The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) will defend their NXT UK Tag Team Titles against Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch on next week’s episode. This will mark the first title defense for Drake and Gibson after the duo won the vacant titles at NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool. 

Also announced for next week is former NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate taking on 205 Live Superstar Jack Gallagher in singles competition.

Finally, on the most recent episode of NXT UK, a video package aired announcing the upcoming debut of Kay Lee Ray. Ray was spotted in the audience at TakeOver: Blackpool, a usual sign that a competitor will soon join the brand. No date was given for Ray’s debut.
