NXT Tag Team Titles Vacated, New Champions To Be Crowned on 4/12 WWE NXT

The NXT Tag Team Titles are officially vacant.

WWE announced that “The current NXT Tag Team Champions have relinquished the titles” and that new champions will be crowned on the April 12 episode of NXT 2.0.

MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) were the NXT Tag Team Champions, having won the titles at NXT Stand & Deliver in a triple threat bout that featured Imperium (Marcel Barthel & Fabian Aichner) and The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius Creed).

MSK were set to defend the titles against Grayson Waller& Sanga on Tuesday’s NXT.

Carter was released by the company on Thursday after allegations of domestic abuse and a photo showing him imitating Hitler were made public. You can learn more about his release by clicking here.

WWE did not mention Carter’s release or name MSK in their statement.

New champions will be crowned this Tuesday night at 8/7 C on USA Network.
