NXT Tag Team Titles Change Hands At NXT Stand And Deliver 2022
Imperium no longer reigns atop the NXT tag team division.
At NXT Stand & Deliver, Imperium’s Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel put their tag titles on the line against The Creed Brothers and MSK. Julius and Brutus Creed earned their spot in the match by winning the 2022 Dusty Cup. Wes Lee and Nash Carter, however, were added to the bout after The Creeds interfered in their Tag Title Match after thinking they were the ones who attacked them earlier that night.
Though all three teams had plenty of opportunities to win the match, it was MSK who would emerge victoriously, capturing the belts for the second time. Their first reign began last year at Stand & Deliver and came to an end after 202 days when they lost to Imperium at Halloween Havoc 2021.
